Beth grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and spent much of her young adulthood studying and traveling abroad before she moved back home to raise her family. She is a Lake Superior girl at heart and loves getting outside whenever her schedule allows.
Beth has a diverse background, including 15 years in the health and wellness industry. She has worked in a medical setting as a massage therapist and was previously certified in medical coding. In addition, Beth has held various positions within the local school system where she developed a literacy program for grades K-3, aided teachers in the classroom, was involved in student mentorship, and provided mental health support to students in need. Beth loves learning new things and is a perpetual student herself. She has studied topics related to nearly all aspects of the human experience including personal and human development, personality, health and wellness, and more. In 2019 she finished her degree in Psychology with an emphasis in counseling and is considering pursuing a career as a therapist.
Helping to ease the burden of others as they navigate mental health care became a passion of hers after advocating for services on behalf of a close family member. Beth saw, first hand, the challenges of finding care in her rural community and personally experienced how overwhelming it can be. Her heart is to be of service to others who are experiencing the same.
